A burger that’s packed with flavor and barely needs cooking. And under 15 minutes start to finish!



Falafel Burgers Recipe

1 15 oz can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1 small red onion, minced
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs, divided
2 tbls lemon juice
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp ground cumin
2 cloves garlic
1 bunch parsley (about 10-12 sprigs)
olive oil, salt and pepper

In a chopper or food processor, process all ingredients except the red onion and bread crumbs till combined but still a little chunky. Transfer to a bowl and mix in the onion and half the bread crumbs. Season with salt and pepper. Shape into patties and press the patties into the remaining bread crumbs. Heat about 2 tables olive oil in a non stick skillet. Add the patties and cook on each side just until golden, about 4 minutes.

for the tahini sauce:

1/2 cup tahini paste
1 clove garlic
1 tbls lemon juice
1/4 cup water

Process all the ingredients in a chopper or food processor until smooth.

Garnish the burger with shredded romaine lettuce and chopped tomato. Top with the tahini sauce.
