Falafel Burgers Recipe1 15 oz can chickpeas, rinsed and drained In a chopper or food processor, process all ingredients except the red onion and bread crumbs till combined but still a little chunky. Transfer to a bowl and mix in the onion and half the bread crumbs. Season with salt and pepper. Shape into patties and press the patties into the remaining bread crumbs. Heat about 2 tables olive oil in a non stick skillet. Add the patties and cook on each side just until golden, about 4 minutes. for the tahini sauce: 1/2 cup tahini paste Process all the ingredients in a chopper or food processor until smooth. Garnish the burger with shredded romaine lettuce and chopped tomato. Top with the tahini sauce. |
